Welcome to THSCC's fourth event of the year, and our second
time back to the BMW Farm for 2006! For anyone who has not
been here before, this is a converted cow field that has elevation
changes and soil that consists mostly of sandy dirt. For those
that have not heard, we ARE allowing rally/knobby
tires in the NO4, NU2, and NO2 classes; so bring out those
knobby tires and have fun (anything more aggressive than an
all season is considered a rally tire)! Also, at the BMW farms,
the land owners have a tire mounting machine (which they are
very gracious to let us use), so be sure to bring the rental
car out and hack it up until you de-bead all the tires as
it can be fixed ON SITE! Feel free to sign up at
our pre-registration page.
This is the second consecutive event brought to you by your
favorite autoX 'hackers', and since we have already "Dial
the Hack IN" for the last RallyX, you know we have to go "Back
2 Hack" for the July RallyX!! So, come out, have fun playing
in the dirt and fine tune your 'hack'! If you have any questions,
please feel free to ask our event chairs, Cosby Wood (General
Lei [Smoking]) or Brian Herring (1998 Subaru Impreza [Red])
any and all questions that you may have.
We will be fortunate to once again have Christine and Stacy
selling sub sandwiches on site. $5 will get you a meal consisting
of a ham, turkey, or roast beef sub, chips, drinks, and a
dessert. Don't worry, as being at a cow farm, the meat is
always FRESH!
Don't forget there is an SCCA National RallyCross
event that will be occuring the following weekend,
July 7th-8th, in Orange County Va. If you have the time, please
attend the event to support rallyX events in North America!
Feel free to
sign up here.
Finally, and as always, please remember that we will be guests on private
property, and our good behavior everywhere on the property is critical to
our continued use of this great site. Please help us make this event a
success!
Want to sign up and see if you can 'hack it'? Do that
here.
Here are directions.
