Welcome to THSCC’s third event of the year, and our
first time back to the BMW farms for 2006! For anyone who has
not been here before, this is a converted cow field that has
elevation changes and soil that consists mostly of sandy dirt.
For those that have not heard, we ARE allowing rally/knobby
tires in the NO4, NU2, and NO2 classes; so bring out those knobby
tires and have fun (anything more aggressive than an all season
is considered a rally tire)! Also, at the BMW farms, the land
owners have a tire mounting machine (which they are very gracious
to let us use), so be sure to bring the rental car out and hack
it up until you de-bead all the tires as it can be fixed ON
SITE! Feel free to sign up at our
pre-registration page.
This particular event is brought to you by your favorite
autoX ‘hackers’, and since we generally try to
“Dial the hack OUT” for autoX, you know we have
to “Dial the hack IN” for the rallyX!! So, come
out, have fun playing in the dirt and see if your style can
hold up to the Hackaroos! If you have any questions, please
feel free to ask our event chairs, Keith Vail (1993 Subaru
Legacy [Green]) or Brian Herring (1998 Subaru Impreza [Red])
any and all questions that you may have.
As usual, we will be fortunate to have Christine and Stacy
grilling hot dogs and hamburgers on site. $5 will get you
a meal consisting of a burger or 2 dogs, chips, drinks, and
a dessert. Don’t worry, as being at a cow farm, the
meat is always FRESH!
Finally, and as always, please remember that we will be guests
on private property, and our good behavior everywhere on the
property is critical to our continued use of this great site.
Please help us make this event a success!
Want to sign up and see if you can ‘hack it’?
Do that here.
Here are directions.
