Our first event of the year will again be held at our great
Four Oaks site near the junction of I-40 and I-95. For those
who have not yet been there, this is a very large field, flat
with almost no elevation change, and very smooth. This is
a great and safe site to give rallycrossing a try!
New for the 2006 season, we will be
allowing knobby tires! This includes rally tires,
snow tires, all-terrains, etc. You will find 3 new
classes to accommodate these entries, called NU2,
NO2, and NO4, on our
pre-registration page. These are the non-street-tire equivalents
to the classes we've been using for the past 2 years, so it
shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
Remember, you will be spending
all day outside in late January, so please make sure you are
dressed adequately for the weather conditions.
On the bright side, Christine will again be
grilling hot dogs and hamburgers onsite, with meals for sale
(including drink, chips, and a dessert) available for a very
reasonable price!
Finally, and as always, please remember that we will be guests
on private property, and our good behavior everywhere on the
property, including the driveway/access road, is critical
to our continued use of this great site. Please help us make
this event a success!
