AutoCross: Paper Class Numbers
Why Might You Need to Print Paper Numbers?
It is imperative for you to mark your car on BOTH sides with clearly visible car class and numbers. If your car is not properly marked, you may not receive your correct times because scoring and course workers may not be able to identify you. For this reason, THSCC does not allow the use of shoe polish to mark your car.
Instead of shoe polish, if you are running Novice (NOV) Class and, so, have not purchased magnetic class/numbers for your car, THSCC allows the use of preprinted paper class letters and numbers. If you need paper numbers, please click the links below, on the Autocross Forms page, on the Autocross Event Preregistration page, or on the Car Class Number and Specification page to select and PRINT 2 EACH OF YOUR CAR CLASS AND NUMBERS and bring them with you to each event. Please bring a roll of masking or painter's tape with you to each event, also, to affix the paper class/numbers to BOTH sides of your car.
If you are not running Novice (NOV) Class, please consider purchasing magnetic car class/numbers (or "cling" material if you have a fiberglass-body car). You should please read Car Class Letter and Number Specifications before purchasing class/numbers. THSCC will no longer provide free paper class/numbers for non-NOV competitors on a regular basis. If you do not wish to purchase magnetic or cling class/numbers, you will need to be sure to print you own paper class/numbers before each event and bring masking or painter's tape to affix these to your car. Links to print your paper class/numbers can be found below, on the Autocross Forms page, on the Autocross Event Preregistration page, or on the Car Class Letter and Number Specifications page.
