2005 Dodge Durango Limited Hemi - $6700

Very clean silver on grey leather 2005 Dodge Durango Limited RWD 5.7 liter V8 with 121k miles. This has been a great car for us over the last 13 years and has been very well maintained. The Limited package is fully loaded with leather seats, 7 passenger seating, Dual AC, DVD player in the roof, a great stereo system and more. Rated to tow over 8k lbs and has the same transmission as a Ram 2500, this is a fantastic towing machine and an excellent highway cruiser. I regularly towed a 26’ camper and a boat with it, works like a charm. I bought it with 4k miles from Hendrick Dodge (it was driven by one of the owners for 4k) so I’ve essentially had it since new.

In very good condition with only minor dings and blemishes, see below. No accidents, no paint work. Regularly cleaned and waxed. Includes two remote keys and a couple of spare parts. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country tomorrow. Clear title in my name and available immediately.

The good:
- Runs and drives great, plenty of power, everything works, inspected
- Rear axle upgrade with a Torsen style limited slip (helps at the boat launch)
- Bilstein HD shocks
- Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller
- Full service history back to new, regular oil changes, synthetic always
- New radiator, water pump, hoses, spark plugs, intake manifold gasket, belt, pulleys
- Plenty of life left in the tires
- No leaks! (there’s a spot of wetness at the rear diff but NOT dripping)
- Brand new front brakes, plenty of rear brakes left
- All recalls (air bags) taken care of and up to date

The bad:
- Handful of minor dents and scuffs, and a gouge in the rear bumper (trailer hookup oops)
- There’s a spot of rust forming on the tailgate near the license plate
- It has not been regularly garaged, so there is some sun fading of headlights and trim
- When cold the transmission takes a few seconds to build pressure on the first shift into drive. I have looked into this and it’s a common complaint, but it has been like this for over 5 years, so I think it’s “normal” at this point. Works fine 5 seconds after starting cold.
- AC works great but the clutch is getting a little noisy, something to keep an eye on.
