My son has my old VW golf for sale. It's in pretty sad shape looks wise, but the mechanicals are in decent shape. Right now it needs a water pump. Since that's integrated into the timing belt, my son simply doesn't want to put any more money into the car. The motor runs strong and the clutch was replaced about 30k ago. Suspension needs to be addressed and the brakes are in good shape. The interior is falling apart along w/ the window regulators. This would make a great rally car since most of the interior is striped. He's asking $800, but I'm sure it can be had for much less. It was a fun car to drive.
