Great taste if you disregard the depreciation factor of a Ford, especially a Focus. One of the few cars that would make me part with the Scibaru.

Depreciation on the Focus and Fiesta is horrid at the moment due to all the people wanting a class action lawsuit over the DCTs. My Focus is worth 10k less than it's MSRP according to KBB currently, the Fiesta is similar. They lost almost 50% of their value in the first year.

Wow, I've not kept up with what's going on with those cars at all. That's sounds crazy. I hate the thought of ever buying a new car again (which isn't saying much I guess since I have rarely ever bought a new car to begin with...). I wouldn't mind buying a new C7 however or a 718 Cayman.

Yeah, I had my reasons for buying this car but question now whether they were worth it. I really like the car though, and it gets great gas mileage which is good since I drive 60 miles/day to/from work.

I knew about the DCT issues but guess it didn't dawn on me that it would likely really hurt the aftermarket value of the car this much. Either way, I might as well keep them both a long while now and get the usage out of them since I paid for them lol.

Here ya go Rodney! http://enthusiastauto.com/qsearch/?id=5500&form_display=51

Crazy stuff. The one I bought, 2003 slicktop 6MT Imola/Alcantara, I paid $27,500 for in 2005 (12 years ago next month), and it had 15k miles, 2 years left of full factory warranty and free maintenance then another 2 years of CPO coverage.

thanks Chuck.... great looking car, but that price is nuts. For that money, I'd rather keep the mustang and do a forced air...
