I've had this 280lb iron/aluminum weight laying around for the past few years and I need to free up some space in my shoebox sized garage.

The engine came from a 1997 Mazda Miata that James Milko used to own. He sold it to me when the original engine in my 94 started making indeterminable sounds from the head and it worked great until it broke two timing belts on the street. The first was kind of due to NVH because an oil pump bolt backed out a week before an HPDE at CMP in 2011 and caused the timing belt to jump a few teeth and then exit through the valve cover. Then it's replacement broke at the January 2012 club meeting at Rallyepoint in Cary as I was turning into the parking lot; the car would turn over but refused to start, it didn't make any sense until I pulled the valve cover.

The valve cover in good shape and the cams didn't have any scoring the last time I popped the valve cover off, but that's all I can guarantee out of the head. The oil pan is also in good shape, too. This would be a perfect project to turn into the world's heaviest 4 cylinder coffee table or to make lamps out of the camshafts.

I can get it into your truck/van/Honda Fit at my place since I'm currently in possession of Milko's HF crane.
