Long time club member Brad Mackey had hip replacement surgery last weekend. In anticipation of him not being able to drive a manual anymore, his wife Sharon asked me to sell their Porsche Cayman S for them. The car is at my house if anyone is interested in seeing it. 36k miles (they purchased in 2010 with about 18k on it)
6 speed manual
Carmona Red Metallic with Tan Interior
Bose Speakers
Fairly new tires (about 5k miles on them) - Continental DW
Plugs and Coils have not been done, but replacement parts will come with car
Includes fitted car cover.

Beautiful car! I remember driving the heck out of Ed Holloway's Cayman S back in 2006-2007 and absolutely loving the experience. It reminded me of driving a modernized 914 in so many ways, and I felt it was more fun to drive than the 997S.

I so want that car.... I sat in a 2001 boxter and I didn't fit, right leg was trapped between the steering wheel and the console. Is this a 2nd gen car? Is it larger?

These are considered 987 models, and yes, what you sat in was a 986. As to whether this part is better or worse, I don't know. I don't believe there was any outward size difference between models, but the interiors are certainly somewhat different.

(But this is the first year of the Cayman, FWIW. Mine is a 2006 S with a LOT of mods and I ordered it before they were ever available.)

Hey Stephen - if you have any trouble storing it at your house, I'd be happy to make space for it here at my house. I'd even be willing to sell it for Brad. Just let him know it might take me a couple years to find a buyer.

I'll be in Chicago this weekend hopefully watching the Cubbies win the first couple games of the NLCS, but should be home most of next week and weekend if you want to come take a look at it.
