New old stock tires from former rallycrosser. Posting out of kindness, these tires are probably 10 years old, but still have mold nibs.

Do you think the rubber was degrade that much?

Prevailing wisdom is that tires that are 6 years old should be retired. On the other hand, rally-x is not a high speed, high temp use, and for the right price I would consider using them. I would hesitate to drive on the freeway with them, but for an event they are probably ok.
That reminds me, I need to replace some of my trailer tires.
