I bought this a few years ago when I picked up a Nexus 4 and used it with my Nexus 5 as well; since I've changed phones, I don't really have a use for this anymore.

If your phone has a Qi charging coil in it (or you buy a case that has one), this should work for you. I used it at work to keep my Nexus 5 topped off throughout the day.
