Yes, you read that right, this bike has only 440 miles on it. Just passed NC inspection and is actually only just over a year old, it was bought brand new in the spring of 2014 as a left over from a local dealer.

It has been dropped a couple times in a parking lot, but the only actual noticeable damage is on the muffler heat shield, it's got some scratches which you can see in the photos. The fairing has absolutely no damage. The brake lever on the bar was slightly tweaked, but if it really bothers you I would be willing to put a new one on it.

The bike has been stored indoors for it's whole life and never even spent a day in the rain, i've never even washed it and you can see in the photos it's still quite clean.

Honda recommends a valve check at 500 miles and of course an oil change, which it's due for anyway, so I will check the valves and have a fresh filter and oil in it as well. Last time I asked the dealer wanted something like 600 bucks to do this which is crazy considering they likely don't even need adjustment, but i'm experienced working on 4 stroke single cylinders since I grew up riding old dirt bikes and 4-wheelers that needed work pretty frequently.

I'm looking for $2800, which is just under the KBB retail which assumes about 5k miles to be on it, so I think this is a great price for a club member. You're basically getting a new bike for a used price here.

I'll allow club members a test ride if you show up with cash in hand and obviously have an endorsement, it would make a great commuter around town and Honda claims it gets 77mpg. It'll do highway speeds but it's winding out pretty high, but it's fairly happy doing 65-70 considering. Super easy to ride and is actually quite fun. I normally ride a 150hp FZ1 and I still get a kick every once in awhile out of riding the little 250.

It was bought for the wife, she hasn't ever ridden it except for around a parking lot a few times, hence the scratches on the muffler.

She just hasn't had time to do the MSF course with working full time and working on a bachelors degree so we decided we should just sell it for now and find something else if she is still interested in riding later.

Pretty much all the miles were put on by me, every once in awhile i'd ride it to work instead of the FZ1.

Keep it, throw some track plastics on it, and take it to track days. You would be amazed at how fun little bikes are on track. I had more fun on my wife's 300 then I did m 1000cc bike.

That's going to be a hard sell to the wife, I had considered keeping it and just riding it myself though and selling the FZ1. I will agree it's a lot of fun to ride since you can just blast around without being hauled off to jail after one shift on the FZ1 lol.

My wife had a Ninja 250 and I thought it was way to buzzy but I would have liked to taken it to the mountains.

The Honda is a single cylinder instead of a twin like the Ninja. It's actually quite smooth in my opinion, i've certainly ridden worse bikes. It'll do highway speeds without too much trouble and i've never noticed it being too buzzy. I had a Suzuki C50 once though that would make my hands numb after cruising down the highway for awhile.

Why do I keep coming back to look at pictures of the bike?

I need a 6th motorcycle like I need a hole in my head, but yet I keep trying to make excuses for why I need a 250cc single cylinder street bike. Weird.

Looking for anything in trade? I don't really have anything to offer, but let's hear it!

Off topic, but do you have a chain breaker by any chance? I need to replace the chain on the Symba.

Do you have a cutting wheel? Honestly they work better then any chain cutting tool I have seen for removal. If your trying to cut a chain to length, head to Cycle gear and buy their kit. about 30 bucks.
