So, we'll call this a feeler for now, but its looking very much that I will be moving to Florida in the coming months. I'm looking to rent my current house here in Raleigh. I bought this house 10 years ago from THSCC swap & sell (I pretty sure its the most expensive thing ever sold on THSCC swap & sell in fact) from Kathy & Tom Morris and I would like to rent it to a THSCCer if possible and "keep it in the family". Its really a awesome place for anyone in to cars. I'll start with the important stuff, the garage was built after the house by Kathy and Tom though it was built to match and so you can't tell, it is a detached "oversized" two car garage that is 26' x 24' that has served me well for many car projects of the past decade, lots of space for a couple cars, tool chest, engine hoists, etc. The house is a 1450 sq-ft 3 bed/2 bath ranch with a tire... errrr... lawn equipment storage room attached that is not included in the heated square footage that is 10'x5'. There is a big deck 40'x20' and a brick patio area between the garage and house. There is also a 12'x14' shed/workshop that is wired and has a nice big workbench. Its a smooth and level driveway and I had it paved (asphalt) 18 months ago and this makes moving engineless cars by yourself around much easier, ask me how I know, and had a parking pad made as well. As it sits you can easily park 6+ cars and a couple trailers, more if your creative. The house sits on nearly an acre and there is a fairly large back yard. Its conveniently located 10 mins from downtown Raleigh and 10 mins from NCSU main campus and even RTP is only 20 mins or so. It is in unincorporated Wake county with no HOAs or any covenants and the neighbors don't really care much so you can do mostly as you please.

I'm looking to rent the whole place out for $1300/month THSCC price with a longer term lease.

4408 Yates Mill Pond Rd, Raleigh, NC

Sorry no, signed a lease last week and they are moving in this week. Nobody from the club unfortunately, some young couple recently moved from AZ. Forgot to update this thread.

Bump! The house will be available again the first of the year, current tenants want to move back out west.

Just bumping this as this house will likely be available for sale in the not to distant future. I bought this place from the THSCC "swap & sale" in 2002 from Kathy Morris and it would be great to keep it in the THSCC family. PM me if interested.

photobucket is crap unless you have bought into their evil empire.... none of the links work. I've used imgur successfully, they even have BBC code links for pics...
