I've got a 1988 Suzuki quadsport 230. I am the second owner and have owned it since 1989.

I have this listed for $800 on craigslist, but I would let it go for $600 to a THSCC member.

It was stored in a garage for several years and I have recently taken it out and got it running again. We picked up some newer 4wheelers and are not using this one.

This is a kick-start ATV, and there is no electric starter on it.
It's a 5-speed with a manual clutch.

THE GOOD
I have recently replaced the following parts with the intentions of riding it:
- ALL front suspension bushings
- Front ball joints
- Front Brake Pads
- Steering rack bushing
- new shift linkage
- Front wheel bearings
- rebuilt the carb (since it sat for a while)
- emptied and cleaned the gas tank
- Replaced rear shock with a shock from a Yamaha Raptor 350
- repainted front control arms
- repainted front bumper

THE BAD
I have taken good care of this but it is 24yrs old. The carb needs some attention. It has a tough time starting and idling. This just started happening after it sat for about a month after it was last rode, so I suspect that there is a piece of trash in the carb. If I were to keep it, I would just replace the carb with an upgrade, which is available on ebay for $115. Otherwise, expect to spend some time fine tuning the existing carb.

Also it smokes a bit and it needs to have the clutch, chain and sprockets replaced.

I have the following parts in a box and they can go with the ATV
- Rear axle bearings
- swingarm bushings
- rear brake pads

I also have some aftermarket parts that I will include for extra if you're interested in those.

I will consider trading it for some other toy or tools.
