On the wide-open concrete expanses of the Laurinburg-Maxton International Airport, we will be having two (2) events on Saturday, March 22nd, and one (1) on Sunday, March 23rd.
On Saturday we will have:
- A "True Novice" School (for novices with 1 year of autocross experience or less)
- A Test & Tune event for everyone else
The True Novice School will be limited to 24 students. There is no online preregistration for the Novice School; instead, you should email Jim Pastorius to sign up. Please make sure to include:
- your name,
- your telephone number (in case of problems),
- your car year,
- your car make,
- your car model, and
- a brief description of your motorsports experience (if any).
Novices should all review the Novice Tips page.
Please also email Jim if you are interested in instructing at the school.
The Test & Tune will be a standard-type event, but limited to 60 drivers. We may have multiple course segments set up for testing (space permitting), at least 1 will have the timer set up on it. There will be no results kept or posted, and no awards. Online preregistration is available for the Test & Tune.
On Sunday, we will have our first points-awarding event of the 2003 season. The entry limit will be 120, and standard times and prices will apply. Online prereregistration for the Sunday event is now open. Since they were not supplied with the February Heel & Toe, there will be no passcodes for this event; so, get yourself preregistered early!
